Making a circuit using a 2n3055 transistor and 7812 is very easy and I will share it. In this post, I will show you how to make a 12V power supply circuit using 2N3055 transistor and 7812 integrated circuit

This circuit using 2N3055 to amplify the current output. This power supply circuit is an improvement of the adapter circuit in the previous post

The advantages of the following circuit is to get more power than the previous circuit

The integrated circuit 7812 is very simple, 7812 is stabilizer without the demand for additional settings

The physical shape of 7812 is same as TIP 31, TIP 32, TIP 41, TIP 42

IC 7812 will output current of 1A by that to help the performance of each it must be beefed up by using 2N3055 transistor

In parliamentary law,  for the ic 7812 to work maximally then the I should get a slightly larger supply voltage for the ic 7812 should get a supply voltage of 15V and then amplified by 2N3055

For transformers you can use 3A or 5A transformer

C1 in the above scheme using electrolit condensation 4700uf / 25V and C2 using size 2200uf / 25V. You can also use an Elco with a voltage of 50V

The part of C3 100nf is to remove high frequencies so that the outgoing current is completely flat without any distortion
